We started in business years ago as Quality EnCounters.  When granite and other stone grew in popularity, we created a sister company, Granite EnCounters. 

Now there are even more choices, some of which overlap, and the need for a distinction between two companies has disappeared.  But our focus on quality first and foremost has not. 

We are entering a new era with a new, yet familiar name - - a name that embodies what we do best - - Quality in Counters.
